Be cautious to live with them. As they do not protect their clients that live in the shelter from each other. They call this a safe place. It's not really safe. If something goes on inside the house, they will not find someone to come help to stop what's going on whether it's business hours or not. So if someone is cussing at someone, being confrontational, trying to fight the other, they won't handle it. Even for days. Cautiously call. Be careful to come live here if allowed to come. There are people at the shelters that will become confrontational if you simply speak to them at their door. Or try to be polite in sharing the common areas. Normally, the people try to have you there for 30 days and get you into permanent housing. But one of the clients that became confrontational was living there for 4 months and not working, still allowed to stay. WHILE treating others in the shelter house this way. This organization should be reviewed for lack of safety for all clients. They don't have enough staff to come to the house on any day if something goes wrong in the house. They will let someone harm another, etc. They won't come to the house if at all for DAYS. This is a safe place based off who you end up in the house with. And what workers are on shift if something so happens to occur.

I do and I am a client
Samaritan House refused me an none disclosed safe 🏠. Per Supervisor Cheryl; "I will not help you with the government". After I fled domestic violence Clergy & gave the high profile Ministries names of the President's Church council Kenneth Copeland, Paula White Cain, Benny Hinn, Richard Roberts/ORU, Prophet Manasseh Jordan, Zoe Ministries NY and United Palace Cathedral. I gave my detailed sexual assaults twice came straight to Samaritan House with 👮 report # & was THREATENED to call the 👮 that was outside the building if I didn't leave & go to the shelter on Witchduck Rd where I was strangled by an man in the SRO apts adjacent to shelter. Counselor on Thursday evenings asked during group therapy; " Do you have a place to stay yet?". I replied still in my car being harassed etc. & she burst out laughing. The other females said nothing. THE LADIES DESERVE BETTER THEN TO BE SUPPORTED BY FEMALES THAT ARE OBVIOUSLY UNDER YEARS OF OPPRESSIVE CULT MENTALITY ABUSE. (U r walking n2)
It's a safe environment
