JCOC and PIN Ministries are excellent volunteer opportunities always welcoming help. Hobbies, volunteering with the city, attending the VBPD Citizen's Police Academy, reading resource programs for VB Public Schools, etc. The listis endless.
It's all about working with the homeless ,giving positive feedback, churches come to pray and feed the homeless dinners, and a pond leaving you do have other volunteers that give toiletries also help with finding you residency

JCOC serves dinner Monday through Friday at 6 p.m. doors open at 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays JCOC serves dinner at 3 p.m. doors open at 2 p.m. JCOC's food pantry is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Call 491-2846 jcoc houses 51 beds at the new center on witchduck and have programs to help get permanent housing.
Contact JCOC Monday to find out what their current status is. I believe their residential facilities are closed pending redevelop- ment of their site, but I don't know when that will be.

They take them but I would suggest Disabled American Veterans instead. The people who work at JCOC are known to take the best things for themselves.
