I’m disappointed in this Salvation Army location. My children attended this location for approximately 7 years. My children volunteered as needed and assisted with all community service and church functions. My children also became soldiers of the Salvation Army. Both are now in college. When asked; if there was any college scholarships provided for Salvation Army scholars my kids were given no information or guidance. We as a family never asked Salvation Army for any prior assistance. My children enjoyed the environment and simply helping others- I believe my children were not provided assistance due to being members of the Portsmouth location and social economic discrimination.

You have to get application from The Salvation Army whatever city you live in
