Really like this park but they lock it up when it’s too rainy. I understand why- it’s a ditch that fills with water pretty easy. However then they don’t unlock it for weeks when it’s pretty and sunny, so it’s a little frustrating. They should just say it’s closed for part of the year if that’s the case.

The park wasn't closed to me. After some other reviews, I thought that it would be chained up but decided to drive by and see what it looked like, and it was open. It's a nice open place for my dogs to run and play, they just lack the doggy bags.

Pros: A lot of open space for dogs to run, grass is maintained well, and plenty of fresh water. Cons: Bring your own poop bags because the dispensers are probably empty, and people seem to gather by the gate with their dogs making it difficult for others to get in. This is supposed to be a temporary park so parking is limited. All in all its a popular park and good for dogs needing to run off excess energy.

The spot is great, green beautiful sights and the pet owners are so friendly, my only concern is the drain pipes that are not fenced ( a small to medium dog can fit in there) I love the mud and the dogs seem to enjoy it too!!

The person to ask about this would be the mayor. I do know plans are there, but I dont know how far in the future they're thinking. If you're on Facebook go to https://www.facebook.com/groups/brenttaylor/and ask. I run the Facebook group for the park, but I am not knowledgeable about any of the logistics pertaining to the park.
Yes, it is open. I was there yesterday about 10am and there were quite a few people (and dogs) there. They had it closed for a while because a car went through the fence but it is all fixed now.
