This is a really beautiful garden. So peaceful and quiet. So much to see even tho we are going into fall. Still blooming flowers water features, statues koi fish and turtles. I would definitely go back as they have musical events and an adult admission is only $3.
JEFERSON SALAZAR ARANGO
Beautiful venue for any kind of event. Well maintained place and the staff is great.
Swaroop Rao
Pretty good place for a walk among different types of plants, trees and shrubs.

We’ve been visiting meadowlark botanical gardens for many years now, twice a year and never bored, it’s one of the best maintained and managed botanical gardens in all of northern Virginia. The size is just right for young kids and elderly to explore, with a wide variety of plants and flowers, ponds, a Korean bell garden within, lots of fun activities and Christmas lighting during holiday season, will keep you coming back in every season.

Hi Rebecca--Yes, we will be open on Memorial Day and the tickets are the same price. We hope you can come out and visit us!
It is a great family outing any time of year. Enjoy! Tickets available in the Visitor Center. Daylight hours are suggested.
I don't think so. But you can buy membership for this and other local gardens.
They have all sorts of activities so check them site. Plant sale is always popular.
yes it is open but it is almost about to close at 6:30 pm they close
Yes, we are open on Easter Sunday, 10:00 AM- 6:30 PM.
Yes, between April and October the last admission is at 6.30pm and the garden closes at 7pm. Right now (in March) the last admission is at 3.30pm and the garden closes at 4pm.
There is a Meadowlark Connector trail to it from the W&OD. But you'll have to park it at the garden entrance.
When we were there, we saw several people picnicking on the grounds. It appeared that they had brought their own food, as there was no food to be bought at the place. I doubt they would allow alcohol.
Good morning Satya. Meadowlark Botanical Gardens does not have a restaurant. Thank you for your inquiry.
$3 each!
The admission for guests 55 and older is $3.
Children 5 years and older $ 6. Yes it is pet friendly.
Go to the website to purchase tickets. No tickets sold at the garden. About 22$ for adult and 12 for kids over 3.
Simona is correct—-there is a picnic area with tables and plenty of lawn for your picnic blanket but they are not inside the gardens. Picnicking is not permitted in the gardens.
I know they allow weddings and other ceremonies. I would contact the visitor center and ask.
Hi Elena. You can find Meadowlark Botanical Gardens Hours of Operations and Fees at: https://www.novaparks.com/parks/meadowlark-botanical-gardens We hope you can come visit us soon!

It started November 8, I think 6 pm to 8 or 9. You have to buy them for a specific time slot but tickets are cheaper when purchased online.
Regular priced were at about 13$ for an adult and half price for kids. But don't know the price is the same for special events / nights.
The leaves are just starting to change color in the DMV area. So I would assume it would be about a week or two from now.
Yes. There is a picnic area with tables under a shelter, to the left of the carpark before one goes into the main park
I would see their web site for a contact and call them during business hours. All the staff there I've encountered on visits have been really nice folks and it is a beautiful place with lots of scenic vistas and nooks and crannies. Fyi I have no idea what an engraftment is...do you mean engagement??
Early March may not have many flowers, but later in the month might have many flowers
Yes call them. They seem to be very open and accommodating.
It is handicap accessible, most trails are paved, though there are long slopping hills. There are more details on the website.
Yes, $5 for adults, $2.50 for children and seniors. I advise getting the family pass which is 2 adults and 2 guests for a year. This is $45/year.
Yes plenty of flowes and special gardens. Its open everyday you are welcome to do a site survey
Service dogs only are Allowed within the Garden property. There is a dog friendly trail that goes along the perimeter of the property outside the fence line. Thank you for asking.
You have to call and reserve a time for pictures.
The 2018 schedule is not out yet. It's a yearly thing. Just Google it. There are plenty of pics.
Just back from morning walk at the gardens. Perfect time to enjoy Spring blooms. Check out pictures I uploaded today here in Maps
Yes
It is very accessible and they might even teach classes to the group for free or low cost. It has a lot of nature things to do as well
The light show starts as soon as it gets dark.
