We had a really hard time with this one. I rarely leave bad reviews, and I've been a Platinum Elite Marriott member for a few years now. Initially when we arrived, the hotel was clean, nice, and looked new/modern. Front desk lady was kind of short, but it was a bit late so I'm sure she was tired. When we got to the room though, things went downhill pretty quickly. The streaming service for the TV was not working. Ok, understandable. Things go wrong. We called and they sent a cleaning person to fix, which of course wasn't his specialty. He was actually super great though, and did his best. His name is Stephen and of all the employees, he for sure deserves some accolades. We didn't get TV until the next evening... The sink in the bathroom wouldn't drain because the plunger was broken and wouldn't lift. I tried calling front desk in the morning, no answer. So I went downstairs. No one was at the front desk, so I sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. then the phone rang about 5 times before a lady that had been sitting in the lobby the entire time, gets up and answers it. I thought that the lady was just a guest! Turns out she was the employee supposed to be working the front desk. She was super rude to the person that was on the other line, whom I could tell was getting frustrated with her. She was not trying to be helpful for whomever it was. When she hung up, I was standing right there and she asked what I needed. I told her about the sink, and she says "We don't have a maintenance person here. I'll send a cleaning person (again) but he won't be able to fix it, he'll probably just drain it a little." So we were stuck with one sink for 4 people that was now full of water that was used to wah hands, brush teeth, wash faces, etc. It was disgusting. The soap/shampoo/conditioner in the shower was empty. Seriously, all 3 of them were empty. The sign on the shower door says "Door may drip on floor after showering" which was no lie! The floor was sopping wet. We had to use 2 of our 3 towels to mop it up, and when we called to ask for more towels, we were told we had to come down and get them. We stayed here while visiting Holiday World, which we go every year. I will NOT be staying here on future visits. I can definitely say that this hotel did not even come close to Marriott standards.

Nice clean place. Staff was friendly but not overly competent. Left brand new dress behind bathroom door so called within 2 hours to notify them so they could get right away and return. Mysteriously it never showed up? ? ? Even though I told them exactly where I left it right away?!?!Called 4 days straight to check on as well as try to get signed up for rewards program. Finally she said I was signed up but I still never received the email I was supposed to get to verify and give me member #. Also never found my brand new dress???

Nice, stylish, up-to-date facility, with comfortable room and bathroom. Have stayed here twice for business. Two complaints: 1) the placement of the TV, which is on the side of the room and has to be pulled out a little beyond the wardrobe for viewing; poorly designed and 2) no included breakfast; I can live with that. But no complementary coffee? I was in the lobby when 3 people asked about it. You only get what's in the room that, to me, is not worth making. They do have a Starbucks, so you can buy coffee, but it is surprising to see any decent hotel that doesn't offer morning complimentary coffee.

Rooms were ok, bed was uncomfortable, the set up for the room was awkward. TV is on desk with shelf to pull out to help watch while in bed, but it doesn't come out quite far enough so a quarter of TV isn't visible. Has doors at the end of hall, but it doesn't open so parking there is pointless. Rather expensive to stay, and it didn't have complimentary breakfast or anything that would cause the jacked up price. Basically paid extra for the name of the hotel. Booked through third party and it said we could pay cash at the property, but the property says we had to pay with a card upon arrival and then cash when we departed. There were also extra fees besides taxes that weren't disclosed until after we received the receipt. We won't be staying again.
