I had a fantastic time in the free hiring event at Amazon. The customer service and the employees at the building were extremely helpful they were kind and they had a great sense of humor. I pray that I'll be working soon when it comes to the 31st of May as I have been completely honest I've taken the drug and alcohol test and I believe that God is going to bless me I'll see you guys soon have a blessed and beautiful day Amazon thank you

Seems like they (lgb6) doesn't look after the drivers well being. For example, the restroom is FILTHY! overflowing trash, dirty floors, no paper towels or TP. Was the same when I came here to pick up a load.

As an associate that transferred from DCX1 mainly for an easier commute. I'm a packer and the job is really easy. The HR is always here at the facility when you need them. Like my last facility the Shift assistants and the managers are very friendly. You have to face security compared to my last facility. But it's not so bad, considering the security is often nice in my experience. The break rooms are a major upgrade compared to the onces from the last facility. Speaking of breaks usually at my last facility the shift assistants or the managers announce the breaks. At this on our break times are written on the board. For stand up at this one it's always at the beginning of the shift compared to my last facility it's often announced before lunch. I love this facility because its much more chill than my last facility but the last facility is just as good.

This particular day was really great. The people were really good and courteous. People that actually care about what their doing belong in these positions. I think I’ve been to every Amazon location in California. One of the things I don’t like, is that Amazon rotates their employee’s. So from time to time we as drivers will encounter an Amazon employee that has a chip on his or her shoulder. What makes it worse is that a lot of these employees or really young. They have no respect for their elders. The problem there is that we have no complaint number to call or make a report, and even if we did. These employees with a chip on their shoulder. Will never give you their names.

Be more specific about your question. Are you a truck driver And inquiring on a drop trailer? Or are you a prospect employee who has not gotten a call back?.. If you're a truck driver who dropped the trailer, I suggest you swing by the check in office and inquire about your trailer. It's not uncommon for them to take up to a week to unload a trailer. But if you've not gotten a call back regarding employment I suggest you continue searching for other job opportunities.
Our receive department uses mostly forklifts to offload pallets during the day. At night, we use roller conveyors to unload out of a couple of doors
Call or text them on their phone.
If you show proof of any reservations prior your start day they can excuse your days. You just need to talk to HR
https://www.amazon.jobs/en or If they're having a job fair and a recruiter is there have your resume ready. Otherwise used the link attached
If of course people are hiring the new Amazon wineries. For the upcoming dates .....
But I didnt go yesterday or today and I dont wanna go in tomorrow and not even have a job afterall.
oh yeah, theirs PLENTY of sign notification for you to navigate yourself to the proper location. worst case scenario ask one of the outside team members "toms" to help you out... their the ones with the safety vest and walkie talkie. GOOD LUCK
If you cant find anything they aren't hiring right now but they have an extremely high turn over there, if you dont get in good with management who are actually a bunch of 20yr old kinds the average employment lasts about 6 months. And the way to get an opportunity is to attend one of the mass hiring events, they have one every couple months bc the retention doesn't exist. And dont be concerned about where the hiring event is being held bc it doesnt mean thats where you will be placed. For example, I went to a hiring event at Moreno Valley warehouse but the job offer i received was Eastvale LGB3.
Keep checking, positions always come and go. Apply before peak season, August/October to have higher chances of getting hired.
Love the job... Certain policies need to be changed in order for overall good of employees being let go. There is an unwillingness to put into effect the needed changes to protect everyone from ineffectual algorithms of rates in each dept.
Keep ur eye on the hub for transfers or speak to your HR. They might be able to assist you with a transfer if this building is closer to you.
