The staff is friendly, they are professionals and they know their job responsibilities. It is because of this Association state employees get benefits they would not get not being a member. The Association has a respectful relationship with State Legislators. The Association helps legislators to understand the needs of state employees that legislators may not be aware exists. The association is well respected on The Hill in Nashville. If you ask any legislator they can tell you about this association. The membership is not expensive for the benefits you get as a state employee and retiree. The Association is the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves for fear of being fired. If you are working for the State of Tennessee or a retiree I encourage you to join ASAP. I have been a member since 1984. I have met state employees from East, West and Middle TN because I am member. Joining TSEA was the best thing I could have done. I strongly support this Association, happy to be a member. If you are a state employee, higher education employee or a retiree I strongly encourage you to join TSEA. You will be glad you did!!!

I had a serious issue at work they seem to take the word of the person that was actually committing the offense even though I know this person was lying I expected the truth to come out but they gave me no help at all it seems like they were more on their side more than finding out the truth
