I had an unfortunate turn of events that left me stranded in Nashville for about a week and was grateful for the shelter. Other than that, it was a very unpleasant experience. I was almost thrown out my first day just for asking if anyone demonstrated the love of Christ at this Christian mission because I had been yelled at by almost everyone. They treated people like cattle and then quarantined me to a room with no air conditioning because they said I was exposed to Covid and then they forgot to bring me food or my toiletries. The best decision I made was to walk back out on the streets where I was cared for by random strangers and was safely able to make it back home. They made fun of me as I was walking out the door. "We have a runner," they laughed and yelled to each other as I requested my belongings. It saddens me that people in need are exposed to this type of humiliation and neglect. If you are someone looking to donate to this ministry, please look into another organization. The Spirit of our Lord wasn't found there.

Any monetary donations, along with clothes and household items would need to go to the men's campus at 639 Lafayette st. Nashville. If its food it can be accepted at the women's campus at 1716 Rosa L Parks Blvd. We thank u in advance!
Walk in but call first for rules
Staff gets first pick. Food usually never gets served. Only during the summer is offered water. Winter months staff keeps for themselves . If you do donate try toiletries shampoo conditioner body wash
You can take them to the main campus located off of 7th and Lafayette.
