Dr. Oncavage and the staff at New Bern Family Eye Care are true professionals! I always look forward to seeing Dr. Oncavage again, she immediately makes you feel comfortable and is great at explaining the pros and cons of options to correcting my vision after the exam. They have a great staff of friendly people who are great in helping select frames and lenses and navigating the health insurance coverages. Highly recommend them.

We are not in network with that particular vision discount plan. We are able to provide care out of network to many patients with that plan and submit for the patient to be reimbursed for services and materials. We do provide a time of service/cash pay discount as well. Please do not hesitate to call or text our main number for more details if needed.
You most likely have a EyeMed discount plan as part of your policy and we are providers with EyeMed. We also are able to bill medical insurance when appropriate to do so.

Cathy, if you could please give us a call at 252-633-0016 so we could ask a few questions about any vision plans or insurance that might apply and give you a good idea of what your cost would be. We do have complete pairs of glasses starting at $99 and offer a 20% discount (paid in full on date of service) on exam services if you do not have any type of vision plan or insurance to apply to your visit.
