I was charged for a fee when I had been told I’d get a refund. I’m an out of state student so I wasn’t able to cancel in person. I was lied to that it would be through the phone and Lina D refused to cancel for me after telling me she would. DONT COME HERE. There are other LA Fitness with better managers and services. I’ve been charged for months for a membership I don’t even use because I’m not even in the state. Lina was unreasonable and yelled at me through the phone. I hope LA fitness understands that she should be fired for treating a customer so poorly and disrespectful. Please try another place if you don’t want to be scammed by Lina D.

I got a membership here a couple of years ago because my gym was closed during the pandemic. The facility is nice, but is lacking certain amenities (steam room). However, for what I pay for membership is a little pricey. There's a maintenance/enhancement fee they charge annually on top of your monthly fee which I am not a fan of.

I’m writing this from a bodybuilding perspective. They have a lot of great machines you won’t find elsewhere and have plenty of free weights, but the salespeople can be rapacious and over-the-top pushy based on who you talk to. Once you get a membership, you don’t have to deal with them anymore. The place is always very clean, including the bathrooms and floor mats. They may benefit from swapping out some of the less-popular pieces of equipment for modern-day staples like a hack squat or flat bench press machine. Tons of quality cardio machines here. I’m overall really happy to be working out here. Oh, and they should really get some bumper plates! Hex plates are awful for deadlifting from the floor.
