Our room was obviously in need of updating. Fridge was rusted and had mold on it. The platform holding the phone was leaning so badly that it was difficult to key items on it. We killed at least 5 roaches in the bathroom and a couple more in the kitchenette area. Some sort of crawling bug was also abundant on the bathroom floor. However, these were not the main reasons for submitting a review. When I brought the roaches I killed (I placed them in a baggie) to the front desk and told the counter girl that we had found them in our room, she stated, “ First of all, don’t throw things at me.” She had taken the bag from my outstretched hand. Little hard to throw something from you outstretched hand while someone else has ahold of the other side. She was instantly hostile and condescending. There was no call for that behavior. Then when I said I didn’t throw anything at you, she started carrying on about me “coming at her.” I had said jokingly that the “little friends” hadn’t paid any rent towards the room. I don’t feel that was “coming at her.” All the other employees we encountered were very pleasant and helpful.

Had a fantastic stay. Booked over the phone with ease and the man who took the reservation was insanely nice. I had to ask if I could bring both of my dogs as the policy states you can only have one pet per room, but the hotel was very generous with accommodating me so both of my pups could come. They even gave us a room near a side door so it was easy to take them outside to the pet area or to the car. Breakfast was great and had a lot to offer compared to some other places I have stayed. Already booked my next stay with them!

Check in went smooth! The lady at the front was very nice and friendly. The room was clean, neat, upgraded and 20 minutes from the beach. We had no issues on this visit. Will book here again in the future.

The Staff deserves more than 5 stars as they all seemed excited to help or answer questions, thank you everyone! The rooms were clean and surprisingly large. The mattress was comfortable as well. Pool is ok, nothing notable. The TV is relatively small as well but still fine. Also, the breakfast was a good free breakfast which was well attended to by the staff (waffles, muffins, pastries, juices etc..)
