The guided tour was outstanding the curator was extremely knowledgeable about the Sherman family history, the building and General Sherman. The house and grounds are very well kept and the furnishings were authentic to the period. I really enjoyed this tour and learned quite a bit regarding the history of the area and the Sherman family. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in the early history of General Sherman.

They are closed for the season till April 1. Then the hours are 12 to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
It's not open January, February or March. Opens sometime in April.
