Wonderful gorgeous trail. Many beautiful things to see. The terrain is a variety of types. The cliffs were amazing.

Loved it! However, please be very careful when navigating down to the bottom of the cliff. My 7 year old grandson, my dog and I found some tree roots that had been used as steps down. I slipped on the first step and I don't even know what happened after that until I woke up with my face buried in the dirt. I have been in horrible pain since. Just be aware of the dangers and have fun.

This place is super cool! We went in on the Juniper trail off Red Rock Rd and missed the cliffs bc there were no signs pointing us in that direction. However a fellow hiker helped us out and we were able to backtrack and hike down (a little tricky in spots) and around to the bottom of the cliffs. Seems like the quickest way in is to park by the bridge and follow the well worn path to the cliffs. Probably not even a mile in going that way. If you enjoy being outdoors this place is a must see!

One of the most amazing trails in the area. Down the hill to the red cliffs and further on along the river. Lots of roots so might be hard on the ankles, but the diverse vegetation, the amazing views, and the sense of calm this trail brings are absolutely worth it. Best to hike early in the morning as this trail is well known and therefore busy at midday, even in winter.

Yes. Very!! Just watch them though, it can be dangerous
Yes camp fires are allowed. There are actual camp sites with water hook up ect and also a lot of primitive camp sites. We like to find a good sand bar along the river or one of the creeks and camp there. Just make sure you keep your camp fire maintained and leave nothing behind.
Hike the trails you're likely to find a great spot
If it is the same place i went to off red rock road. Then yes.
If you park next to the bridge there was a pretty well worn path right behind the parking area that goes back in and to the left (pretty much following along the water) We had trouble finding the cliffs when we went in on the Juniper trailhead down the road but we accidentally found this trail on the way out. I don't remember it being marked by signs near the bridge though. We actually stopped there first but ultimately decided to go a bit further down the road bc of this. If you do go to the Juniper trailhead you will come to an area that isn't that far from the road that looks like tall grass to the right of the trail with a slightly worn path but this is what we followed. It takes you to the top of the cliffs. It was a little tricky to navigate down so I would definitely recommend looking for the path from the bridge area.
