The owner is great just pay attention to posted rules and I've never had any problems at all. One thing that I like is it doesn't matter what time I come back to the landing, even though he closes his gates at 5:30pm once I have my boat loaded up and I'm ready to leave he's waiting at the gate with it open to let me out with wave good evening.

Very rude people close at five all me and my dad needed to do was swap trailers guy comes out my dad gives him a 20 it's 5 bucks to launch took our money no change and told us to hurry up and leave because we came in a few minutes after close and we told them we was coming back just needed cash . I'll never give these folks my business again bunch of crooks but what do we expect not many good people left in this world. I grew up in pace used to be a small country town with good people don't recommend this place lots of better boat ramps and free.

I have been there at least 8 times now and they have always been polite. Jim's, usually has shrimp when everyone else is out. I have asked about launching my kayak and boat there and was told it would cost $5.00 and then they were even so helpful as to tell me what kind of fish I could expect to catch, the baits that they were hitting on and the area's where they were being caught. Great bunch of people and very down to earth.
