We didn’t plan on staying in Pagosa Springs so we didn’t have reservations anywhere and this was one of the only reasonably priced places with availability for the night. The outside of the building is dated and in need of some love, so we were skeptical/nervous. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and we had a great night’s rest before driving the rest of the way home. Only thing I didn’t love was that the continental breakfast was just packaged muffins and bananas in the lobby. Looked like get had a full dining room for it, perhaps still closed because of COVID?

For $167 you expect a little more than missing light bulbs, a single stream in the shower head, overflowing toilet, and the hot tub missing a foot of water. The hotel is old, but not in a rustic cute way. complete and total rip off.

Lovely rooms that were recently updated, comfortable beds, nice bathroom with the vanity in the room. The breakfast was good, just like any other hotel they had cereals, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, muffins and all the condiments you could need. The front desk staff and housekeeping were all kind and welcoming. A beautiful location and quiet even beside the main road.

This older hotel was chosen expressly for it's location. It's directly across the street from the launching property for the Hot Air Balloon Ride we were taking in the morning. It's pet friendly, comes equipped with an indoor pool and hot tub, Free WiFi, a game room, and an exercise room, and a guest laundry, but not laundry service. It also serves a hot breakfast beginning early enough for guests to walk across the street in time for the launch, which was important to us. We found the owner helpful and friendly. Parking was outside the rooms, which were comfortable, but not fancy. It was suited to our needs.
