St Bridget's church is of beautiful neo Gothic architecture on a small bayou in the farming town of Schriever, Louisiana. It is currently pastored by a kind, loving and generous priest of African birth. It is a quiet, friendly church congregation, many of whom have been in this rural area for all of their lives. It is not a crowded Church and people are well spaced and personally respective during this covid period. A children's liturgy is offered at each Mass for young children who may find it difficult to sit through Mass. They are offered age appropriate liturgy and activities as their parents attend regular mass. We love this church and community. Vigil mass is at 4:00pm on Saturdays, and Sunday Mass is 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Confessions are heard for about a half hour before each Mass.
