Booked this hotel, last minute. It's near a meeting I'm attending. The cashier took @ 10 min to check in each customer when I arrived. The room looked a bit dirty bc there was some sweeping needed. I will attach pictures of the blanket, and the shower. There is a huge square hole in my wall that had a plastic cover that was not sitting flush with the hole, so it was an obvious and big opening. I tried to repair this by pushing the plastic piece in, but it didn't sit flush with the wall. I took a walk outside, and the outside of the building needs better repairs. There are 2 things that concerned me a bit about my safety. 1- The structure itself seems to have very rusted beams that may be structural support beams. They've been painted over as if to cover the rusting, but the paint is detaching from the rust. I started hoping we don't have the same issue as the FL. Apts that collapsed. 2- The phone in my room did not work. This is a mobility access room. There should never be a reason phones do not work in a room. After walking around outside, I did not feel comfortable touching anything here, so I cleaned everything I touched in my room and my hands after. Additionally, barking dogs woke me up at 4:30. They went on til 5:20am when I called the office. Will try to upload pictures of the rusted beams later.

I was skeptical with the number of bad reviews. I have to say the place was not bad. Yes, it's an older motel that probably needs some sprucing up. The room was in good order and clean. The front desk staff was excellent! For a quick overnight before a flight it was great.
