I applied for an apartment at this place and the first time the manager Latoya Saunders kept me and my late husband on the waiting list for so long we gave up and after my husband passed away I applied again. I learned a lot from this manager. Ms. Saunders stated to me it was a good thing I was 62 because if I wasn't she would put me on the waiting list because she didn't want anyone in there under 62 and the people that were there now that was under 62 she would find a way to get them out. After filing out my application and this manager realize I was from New Orleans she then begin to send me through changes. She asked for a bank statement when I brought her that with the other information she then said that she needed 4 bank statements. She then found out I had a negative on my credit report. I then told her they deleted it because I disputed it and it was removed. I asked her to run the credit report again she refused stating that the main office would not do it. I called corporate office and found out that it could be done. Ms. Saunders attitude when she learned I was from New Orleans was very unprofessional. You don't discriminate against a person because they are from another city. I am an american citizen. I wonder did she do this when she put her mom in those apartments and I'm quite sure she went ahead other people to put her there. So if you are under 62 Ms. Saunders has promised you will be on the waiting list. She does not want to rent to anyone unless they are 62 and older.
