Stopped in to fill out an app and the receptionist was very nice. I filled out the app and let her know that I didn't have the 40$ app fee. She informed me that I had thirty days to come up with the money. I was under the impression when I got arrested that "if I couldn't afford an attorney that one would be appointed for me". At no time was I informed I would have to pay forty dollars for an application fee.

It's a shame that getting someone to answer a call or returning a call is impossible. I am a mother and yes I get my child has gotten in trouble, but anyone who know having children with mental illness is difficult. She looks to me to explain things. Why even in this COVID Era can't people understand. AT A LOSS WITH THIS PARISH!!!!

Unfortunately you can't pay it online but there is a drop box out front of the office.
If you're daughter is going through a legal situation in which your going to have to pay regardless and/or can afford to pay and it's a serious charge such as a felony and/lot family court. HIRE A ATTORNEY!!!! I REPEAT!!!! DON'T PUT UR FATE IN THE HANDS OF OVERWORKED STATE FUNDED EMPLOYEES.
