This place is so overpriced. We booked a room with two queen beds, but were instead given a king with a pull out couch. The pull out couch was the worst mattress I’ve ever laid on (hence why we chose a room with two beds), and there were no linens. No phone in the room, so I had to call the hotel and wait to get the front desk. We arrived very late with two little kids so I was quite annoyed. The front desk person was very friendly and apologetic, confirmed the mistake, and said to talk to the manager in the morning. Fast forward to the next morning, and the manager was rude and condescending basically saying I HAD in fact reserved a room with a king. I booked over the phone the day before and did not receive a confirmation email, so I couldn’t even prove the mistake. But her general disposition was not one I would expect as such a ridiculously over priced hotel. The room was just okay, carpets in hallway were filthy, and pool was so gross looking we didn’t even attempt to use it. As someone who worked in the service industry for many years, I was incredibly disappointed with our experience here. Save yourself some money and stay somewhere more inland and drive into the beach. Absolutely do not recommend.

What a wonderful stay! Greeted by professional & courteous valet staff at arrival. Managers J & Dave provided excellent service, great recommendations and knowledge about the area & hotel. Our room was super clean, updated, well maintained and comfortable. Great beds, pillows, amenities & service! Sophia was our server for a quick drink at the Sandbar rooftop bar….she was very nice & attentive. Overall, a perfect stay! Thanks Ashworth staff!

We (4 people) stayed for 4 nights in a two queens room. This trip was a graduation gift for the four of us, and we were super excited to get out of our small town and get to the ocean for a few days. Right off the bat, the staff were anything but friendly, and we were made to pay a ridiculous amount for valet parking, just to have the car parked literally ten feet from the main entrance. The carpeting in the hallways was filthy and noticeably stained. When we arrived in our room, it was fairly nice, but looked nothing at all like the online photos the hotel provides. The view of the ocean was great, but the balcony was barely big enough to fit two people. Our bathroom door was hung incorrectly, so it was a struggle to get it shut, and it made a horribly loud sound when opened back up. The toilet flushed like and airplane toilet and the sink leaked water out the back so anything on the counter was constantly soaked. You can hear every sound from adjacent rooms, and we were repeatedly woken up during our stay by neighboring guests. The room was obviously not cleaned super well before our arrival because there was dust everywhere, there was sand on the floor in the bathroom, and a deflated balloon was left in the room from previous guests. There were only two towels provided for 4 guests. There was no phone in the room to call the front desk. When we asked for more towels, the woman at the front desk acted as if it was a ridiculous request. NOT ONCE during our 4 night stay was the room cleaned. We were never given new towels, and we had to seek out one of the cleaning carts in the hallway to get more toilet paper. The floor was covered in a layer of sand our entire stay because no one came to service our room. The indoor pool that was advertised was not really heated and looked nothing like the photos online. The one night we were able to get to the pool, there were no towels available. After that, the pool was “closed for maintenance” the remainder of our stay. The reasons I am allowing this hotel 2 stars instead of just 1 star are that the location was a plus because we were able to get to the beach and the strip so easily, and the hotel restaurant had great food. Overall, don’t waste your money on this place. It is far too expensive for the service we received.

Positive: Great location. Beautiful ocean views and spacious oceanfront balconies in some rooms. Lobby is very clean and well kept. Beds are comfortable. Negative: Pictures do not accurately depict rooms. At first glance hotel is up to date but upon arrival you can see how run down the property actually is. Stains on hallway carpets, peeling paint, just overall run down property and rooms with high price.
