We ate lunch, with reservations of course, on the deck. Beautiful setting with views of the water and overlooking the grounds of the Inn. Our lunch was relaxed and leisurely and our Server was attentive. The lobster stew and popovers were served at the proper temperature and both servings were delicious. Our table also had a dessert popover, consisting of a warm popover served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce, it was a meal in itself!

We stayed at the Inn July 17-21, 2022. We absolutely loved it. We will definitely stay again as well as recommend it to others. I loved the historical charm. The views were amazing. The Inn is well kept and the staff were super friendly and helpful. 5 Stars. ❤️❤️❤️

Enjoy a very spacious historical building overlooking a harbor with a variety of settings for dining. We sat on the back porch and as it started to get cold and foggy they immediately brought a heater over and closed the wind shades without us asking. Excellent service and cuisine. This was the first time I tried a popover and wow, it’s a must. I believe this is the sight of the original popover. Regardless, an order of popovers with blueberry jam or whatever may be seasonal to go with it is a must. Expect a wonderful meal and carefully designed cocktails in a country club like setting with character and a little grass field for kids to run around on below deck.

The charm and history of the inn is amazing. The service, amenities (lack of) and lack of skilled management is disappointing to say the least. We booked a week stay months in advance. When we first arrived, all seemed well. Wake up the first morning expecting to be able to get a cup of coffee and that was not happening. Who has ever heard of an inn that doesn't have coffee available first thing in the morning? Speak to the front desk and ask if it's possible to have coffee available the next morning. Was assured it wouldn't be a problem. It was. Second morning had to wait to get coffee once the continental breakfast was available. Then the wedding party on the weekend. Whooping, hollering, drunks stumbling about the parking lot. It was "interesting". Then the day the hotel loses water. Everyone had to be moved to other accommodations. Mind you we paid for a harbor view room. We're moved to a cottage next to the hotel. Shared it with loud, obnoxiously stomping neighbors. You could literally hear people having just casual conversation in the room next door. This cottage room is half the size of the suite we had. So, the water is restored to the hotel, but we're never offered our original room back. Extremely poor management. I cannot believe Asticou charges world class prices, but provides back alley accommodations. The owners should rethink their management hires.
