This isn't a bad place but... Decent hotel in a fairly convenient location. The rooms were spacious and clean. It met all of our needs with one BIG exception: It is a two-story building and there is no elevator. The second floor is accessed by a large staircase in the lobby. If you're on the first floor you're all set. Otherwise.....

They will charge you a "COVID cleaning fee" and then never clean the room. The sign at the front desk says it is a one-time fee but I was charged the fee for each night we stayed. They also charged me for the safe, and I never requested to use it and didn't use it. I asked to have the fees removed and they told me they refunded them when I checked out, but the fees weren't refunded. The first night, we had a TV that did not work. We were moved to a different room the next night because it still was not working. We asked if we could get a discount on that night and they acted like they didn't have the authority to reduce the charge. All in all, it was an OK stay except for the extra fees and deception about refunding them. I tried to call the number on the invoice and it is disconnected. I tried to email the address on the invoice and my message returned as undeliverable. I looked up another phone number for the property and it does not get answered or have voicemail.

The place was recently (I think) taken over by a new owner, and it shows. The rooms need updating, the safes were all locked by the previous owner and not accessible to use, the breakfast was definitely not up to Wyndham standards. Hopefully after the transition is completed the place will improve. They also charge an extra $4/day COVID cleaning fee per room but the housekeepers do not enter your room to replace soaps shampoos or towels, you have to request that it be done, and if I remember correctly there is another extra charge for that as well. Next time we will stay across the street at the AmericInn.

No elevator. Night desk clerk was friendly. Room was clean and adequate, however the bathroom is tight, really tight. Super small vanity and shower area. Like some of the other reviews, breakfast was truly disappointing, and no reason for this, just laziness. No milk. Really? No milk means no milk for drinking. No cereal. No oatmeal. So what exactly are you serving for breakfast? Get out of your chair and go buy a gallon of milk. No fruit. Get some oranges and bananas while you picking up milk. Sausage gravy was barely warm at 8 a.m., so you know the crock was not turned on in a timely manner. Tidy up Days Inn Mgr, tidy up.
