I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We stayed in a king jacuzzi suite, which cost me less than $160 using military / veteran discount. We had spent the last 3 days hiking and camping in Custer State Park and the jacuzzi tub was just what we needed. The hot breakfast was actually a full breakfast not just waffles and stale donuts a lot of other places give you. I give it five star all around based upon my expectations for the price point. Everything in a room was clean and smelled fresh and the air conditioning was 100% controllable by us, not preset by hotel staff.

Very nice hotel. We stayed for about a week and have enjoyed our stay for the most part. It's centrally located and can hit all the tourist spots within about 30 min. Now the cons. Breakfast was very basic. However they serve it for a long time and seem to have plenty of food to go around. The pool situation was disappointing. During our entire stay, either the hot tubs or the pool itself was out of order for maintenance. It was really disappointing to come back after spending a hot day outside and not have a nice cool pool to get into. We also opted for a suite, but have been disappointed in the sleeping arrangements as 2 of my kids have had to sleep on the floor the entire time. There was also no bathtub in our room. Other than those, it's not a bad place to stay.

Stayed here for five nights while on vacation in South Dakota. While the location was great, the hotel was really the best part! We had two cats, and the staff at the front desk waived the pet fee for our last couple nights. The room was exceptionally clean upon arrival. The bathroom was great (water pressure, heat, etc. all awesome) and we had more than enough towels for three people. Breakfast was at a good time every day and there was always enough food no matter what time we arrived (plus fresh coffee all hours). While you can hear noise from rooms in the hallway, it’s very quiet once you’re inside. Though other pets were also there, we heard hardly no noise from the rooms on our floor and slept very well. The staff were all incredibly helpful during the booking process and throughout our stay. If we are ever in Rapid City, we will most definitely be staying here again, and I really recommend this place for families or folks with pets!

Booked very late on booking.com. Got lucky and this hotel was great. My daughter chose the hotel because of the water slide. The rest of the hotel was great. I always worry about the pool water temp, as some hotels go cheap and it's not warm. This hotel had very warm hot tubs and a very acceptable pool temp. The water slide lands in the deep end of the pool, so remember that. A kid won't be able to touch the bottom when splashing into the pool. Good breakfast, room clean, not noisy, adequate parking, pet friendly. We'll go back if we're in Rapid City again. Price was very good--even with the dog.

Yes.
There's an adjoining Mexican restaurant and another good restaurant in a hotel a block away. We did get pizza delivered.
Yes they do, on the second floor by the customer business office. Right next to the elevator.
Quit bitchen....those wernt ants they were hallucinations
Sounds like false advertising to me, but I bet you missed the fine print that the summer season does not apply to those rates.
