This Saturday, Feb 19th, the weather was about as good as you can ask for; sunny, mild temperature, little wind and had some powdered snow. We paid $55 for the entrance and for a family of 5 this was a great place to have some fun with family and friends. Get there early as the line quickly gets long at the opening. Just be careful that once the driveway to the paying entrance booth gets about 20 cars deep, you'll be waiting on the freeway, which can be dangerous. On this day the dine in facility was closed though you can order and pickup food from the outside walk up window. We would come here again.

$45 just for entrance. Plus $40 tubing rent for 2 hours. I was told these are the highest hills for tubing in the S Tahoe. If you grew up in real winter, these hills just a joke. Don’t waste your time. It doesn’t worth it. Also there are long lines… On the entrance they don’t inform that snowshoe is not available this season, also trails are closed for hiking.

Beautiful place for sliding with kids. Bring your own tube but the price went up from 35$ to 55$ per vehicle

We went on 12-5-20 so we were still early in the snow season but they had plenty of snow and 6-7 runs open for adults and kids. Most of their runs are for both kids and adults, some are shorter and some are a little longer. As they get more snow then the runs become longer. We arrived at 915a and was able to pull right in and only waited behind ten cars or so. I’ve been here in the height of the season and had to wait on highway 50 behind 20-30 cars to get in. There was hardly anyone here today and it was great. The kids had a blast as we watched them go up and down the hills. The kids got in a snowball fight so that was fun to watch. The snack bar only has hot dogs and pizza and drinks so bring your own food and snacks if you want. A menu picture is included in this post. Otherwise you can rent sleds and tubes if you don’t bring them and admission is normally $30-$50 a car depending on how many people you have. I did notice some people not wearing a mask (a couple teenage girls and some adults) and the resort was regulating a little. They would come over with a bullhorn to the hills and the guy said that everyone must have a mask on and socially distance but you can barely hear him even with the bullhorn so they have to find someone else to scream that announcement. Otherwise I still felt safe because most people are use to wearing a mask on their own now. Overall a great day and we were able to distance from pretty much everyone because it wasn’t crowded at all.

Hours of Operation Weekdays 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Weekends and Holiday Periods 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Final resort entry 30 min prior to closing. Open 7 days a week December through April weather and snow permitting. Yes plenty of snow on the mountains!
Yes carry chains unless you have 4x4 with snow tires. There are retailers along the way that will sell you chains for a fair price, as I assume they will be hard to find in Berkeley. If your going right now I would not worry about chains there is no snow forecast for at least a week.
Yes. But please check their website to make sure that they are open.
Yes, we are open Sunday, March 6th from 9am - 3:30pm
I'm sure there is snow still. Their phones are down from the Cal Fires so it's impossible to call and check.
Yeas that snow is not going anywhere. I think the sun slowed down the melting.
Because we received over 10 feet of snow during the end of December, we still have plenty of snow at our 7,400 foot high elevation.
Sorry Leo, but Adventure Mountain is still within the Caldor Fire Closure Area, issued by the Eldorado National Forest. Tree felling operations are ongoing on property, and Adventure Mountain is under a hard closure. Also, the Tahoe area has been experiencing mild weather, and we are awaiting snow to kick off the season when we are released from the USFS mandated closure. We anticipate an opening date closer to Christmas.
Due to the Caldor Fire, Adventure Mountain is currently within the Eldorado Forest closure area. We hope we will be out of the closure when the forest service releases the next closure boundary adjustment. We are also awaiting power restoration, which we hope will be within the week. Although no structures were lost at Adventure Mountain, and most of the forest survived, there is still work to be done. We anticipate being able to operate fully this season when we have enough snow, and when the United States Forest Service releases Adventure Mountain from the forest closure.
Airbnb isn't, but the lake might be. I know I've seen some dogs walking on the beach area

Estella, I think that Adventure Mountain will stay open for this weekend. I went there exactly a week agoand there was plenty of snow left. It may be starting to melt, however, there is with no doubt enough snow to go sledding. Hope this helps!😄☺
I went there 4 days agonand there was plenty of snow, i am sure itnwill still be there by tomorrow
It will be limited but i think the price stays the same which is about 35 bucks per car
Lots of patking but this place can get full on good snow weekends or holidays. You want to get there early on days like that.
closed till there is enough snow. Check website often to see when open
We went to this place last week and it was opened. Perfect for kids, you can bring your own sleds or rent rubes tbere.
Not dog friendly. Not a large lodge and the sled hills are very busy. I doubt they allow dogs.
Last season was open until june because excess of snow. I think it closes im may.
