Best wings but seemed to slip a bit on this last visit. Wish it wasn't $24 per visit just for myself.

Ordered a 6 piece bone-in chicken meal w/ bbq sauce. Probably the worst chicken ever. Dry as a corpse that's been left in the desert for 100 years. Pretty pathetic when that's your signature dish. My wife ordered the salad and we ordered it without tomatoes and peppers, but it had them on it anyway. Still, she did say the salad was really good. Wouldn't waste my time or money going back here though.

Wow. So I expected more from 8 year consecutive "Best of San Diego" wings. I got the 6 wings with Med. Buffalo sauce. While the sauce was amazing, there was so much in the container it was like "hot wing soup". Way too much to eat in a moving car without sloshing it around. The extreme amount of sauce caused the skin to be rather soggy and was self-defeating. That's an easy fix by getting it on the side, which I highly recommend. The main disappointment was how overcooked my wings were. I got through three of them and had to spit out large amounts that were impossible to chew. It was like chewing on a rope in some places. That is way too overcooked for a restaurant that serves chicken wings all day long. I have to think this was a rare thing because there were a lot of people going in as I sat in the car eating. The best part about the meal was the buttery, garlic-flavored, soft breadsticks. They were amazing. Another bad part was the fact that the carrots in the veggie bag had to have been cut about 4 days in advance. They were powdery and dry where they were cut. They did not taste very fresh. It wasn't a deal-breaker, but would have been so much better if they were fresher. The ranch was great. This would have been 5 stars if the chicken was cooked better, the veggies fresh, and the sauce less than 1/2 a cup, swimming in the container. It's worth a try!

Just received my to go order and I'm very disappointed. They charged me for the extra ranch i ordered, but only received one container of it. Thank you for taking my money and not giving me what i paid for.

Do they still use the same recipe for the mild sauce on the bone out strips & their ranch? I live 2hours away but if it's the original Wings n Things recipe then it's worth the drive.
