Clarion Suites At The Alliant Energy Center

Good location right next to Alliant Energy Center. Room was clean and nice. Comfortable beds!! Very functional kitchen with full fridge, two burner hot plate, small dishwasher. The hot breakfast was exceptional. Fresh scrambled eggs, homemade hash browned potatoes and two types of sausage. Also waffle maker, toast and cereal and good hot coffee. Microwave available if needed. I would come back just for the hot breakfast!

The Clarion location is perfect for the weekend of the horse fair at the Alliant Center!! It's great to be able to access the fair from the hotel. The rooms are clean. The mattresses on both the bed and sleeper sofa were old and not comfortable. Would really appreciate them being updated, but overall, I would and did recommend this hotel to others attending the fair.

This is a fair hotel for the price- I stayed here to make sure I was within a reimbursement limit. The rooms are extremely drab and old but the appliances and amenities are functional- though the shower annoyingly shot a straight jet of water. There were no glass, only plastic cups. I hope that they eventually remodel. The service for breakfast and the front desk were very good, but my room didn't seem to be cleaned (towels and bed not changed) for the two nights/three days I was there.

Front desk was very nice. Rooms were dated, although clean. Across from the Alliant Energy Center for conventions and concerts. Slowest elevator and only 1 elevator for 7 floors made it take a long time to arrive. ESA pet fee. So far this is the Only hotel to charge me a pet fee for my esa dog with id. She never caused any issues, and does not bark. Yet i was charged a $25 pet fee plus tax. A fee I was not aware of when i checked out.
