Unfortunately, I had dust on the camera sensor, which unfortunately could be seen in the pictures. Here the camera and the lens were professionally cleaned at short notice - great service! Thanks. Info: The shop is on the 17th floor of a normal office building! You can't see it from the street, but the address is correct, just walk in! 👍🏻

This place is the sony authorized repair shop. They were able to repair my Sony rx100 IV camera when all the buttons on the back of the camera were not responding. And the repair cost was within the budget I was willing to pay because it cost less than buying a used version of the same model. They managed to repaired it a couple of days after I paid the repair cost. Their repair lead time usually goes for 1 to 2 weeks and I got mine within 2 working days.

This place is unbelievable! I had been in contact with a couple other camera repair shops and was quoted almost a $1000 dollars to fix a shorted out aperture wheel on my Sony camera and was told it could be months before I would get my camera back from repairs. I contacted Photo Tech and within minutes my customer representative(Paul) had told me exactly what was wrong with my camera without even having it in hand and told me almost the exact price it would take to fix it(about $60 in labor and $170 in parts). I then put my camera in the mail box to send it off to have it fixed and I had my camera back in my possession in about 3 weeks. EXCELLENT SERVICE from some EXCELLENT people! I highly recommend for any problems with your camera. They are a authorized Sony, Nikon, Canon and many other camera dealers, repair shop. Thanks again Photo Tech!

We have a semi retired technician that still works on some of these models. The cost is $175.00 and repairs take 3-6 weeks because he comes back and forth between his retirement home. You can bring into the office or ship if you wish to proceed. Payment in full is needed upon dropping the camera unit off and we will provide a 90 day warranty with the repair as well. The viewfinder is very difficult to clean so we will do the best we an but it will be better than it is currently.

The lenses for these cameras are not meant to be disassembled and they come as an entire assembly. The price range for replacement is $275 to $400 but we need to see it to provide an exact price.
Internal cleaning of the elements is a very big job because some of the glasses come in groups and can not be cleaned in between. We need a technician to perform an estimate by seeing the lenses. Also keep in mind that water corrodes circuitry so even though it maybe working now as the corrosion continues on the circuits it will short out and can stop working. We use all original Canon parts on our repairs and the minimum fees for estimate are between $15 to $25 per lens. Repair turn around is running about 1 week right now.

We can internally clean the lens starting at $115 because optical alignment is necessary. Usually there are rollers and plastic barrels that are changed at same time in order to bring the lens back to Nikon specifications as well. To get an appraisal, drop it off at the store. They charge approximately $15 for the appraisal. It takes them about a day to get back with a repair price. After that, you can either accept their proposal and pay their repair fee or you can pick up your lens and do nothing.

I don't think shutter needs cleaning, the sensor does require cleaning if you are seeing spots on your pictures. They have been extremely professional and efficient over the years. I paid about $65-$70 to get my D800 cleaned recently and it was done in a couple hours.
