This company sent workers who destroyed several evergreen trees and not speak English to our new home. They were not supervised and clearly were not trained. They damaged 8 trees - instead of using ribbon they used their hands to break large branches off which now removed a great deal of the privacy that the trees once provided (these won’t ever grow back - if they do it will take many years). Hire a better company that will at least call you and make amends when they screw up and damage your property - I’d never use them again — In response to scalice a below response YOUR WORKERS DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH, YOU NEVER REACHED OUT TO US TO APOLOGIZE AND YOUR DISCOUNT IS VERY TINY. If we hired a lawyer and sued you for the damages they would prove to be beyond what a well trained surveyor would ever need to remove. They also removed branches that were not even near the property line because your workers DIDNT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. While I know you’re trying to defend your business - you messed up badly. My trees will likely never regrow.

I have been building single family residential homes on Long Island for over 30 years. Thus, I have worked with countless surveyors and engineers. I must confess that Scalice Land Surveying is the "Best" land surveyor I have ever hired. They are experienced and understand the technical aspects of each job. They take time to study and do research before showing up at the site. They have worked with me along with other site-geo engineers, Suffolk County Health and SCDPW to resolve complicated issues on the job. The customer service is awesome! Mike, the CEO, frequently replies to my emails and Amanda, the office manager will always immediately get back to you if you call, text or email. She's the best! I have recommended them to countless friends, family and co-workers without any negative feedback. I will continue to use their services for as long as I'm in the real estate and construction business.

We have been so impressed with the level of service and professionalism that we received when working with Scalice Land Surveying. Having worked with two prior surveying companies during the construction of our new home, I had lost faith in the profession. However, Scalice always answered the phone, responded quickly to all emails, and was an all around pleasure to deal with. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

The cost of a survey depends on many factors and is priced on a case-by-case basis. Each property is unique. Some factors that may affect pricing include time of year, property size, location, terrain and the year of development. Townhall and courthouse research can also have an impact on the price. Each town and county have different regulations which sometimes make it harder to find/obtain needed information.
