Awesome location in Asheville! I can walk to three different breweries and all kinds of restaurants in Biltmore Village. The staff in the leasing office is attentive and seem genuinely interested in making The District feel like my home. The maintenance guys are quick to respond and very friendly. I like my neighbors, I love the convenience of the workout facility, and the view of the sunset from my deck is SPECTACULAR!

Save yourself thousands in rent and hundreds in extraneous move-out charges and do yourself a favor - don't live here. They were acquired by a new company and will bleed you dry - fees for not bringing your valet trash can in before 9AM, exorbitant convenience fees online for paying rent, just to name a few. More than 2.5k a month in rent for a two-bedroom apartment and "luxury" amenities (aka a gym reminiscent of one you'd see in a hampton inn and a pool that was closed for half of our 10-month stay here). If you take any of this advice, PLEASE make sure someone actually walks through the apartment with you upon move out or they will charge you for every single thing they can find. Just stay away, there's way better options nearby at better price points.

Lovely community, includes extraordinary amenities. Dog park for dog lovers. STAFF is very nice and helpful. Maintenance is right on it. One suggestion I would make is to clean up and paint entryways where gates are.

Little to no maintenance on buildings and no cleaning of common areas, corridors or elevators.
