The map is wrong. You need to use the fish creek road off old highway 10. The fastest route shown is through private property, the gates are locked and public travel is not permitted.

Remote and quiet. We had the campground to ourselves but it might get a bit busier later into the summer. There is a Trailhead in the campground that leads up to some old test digs and connects to an ATV trail. But I can't find any info on this trail. I'd love to explore more sometime. I added a bunch of street view 360s so you can see this campground.

The roads were not suitable for automobiles unless you have a truck of some sort. The trek to the campsite was absolutely terrifying.
