Google directions don't quite go where it is, so just watch for signage. Otherwise, a beautiful spot to stop. The cliff looks amazing in the sunrise.

Lovely place to stop for lunch between Idaho and Butte/Bozeman. Lots of shade over nice picnic tables. Only downside: lots of mosquitoes.

Beautiful setting with lots of history. Excellent park near the town of Dillon right on Beaverhead River with Horse shoe pit, pavilion, lots of picnic tables. Wonderful shade trees and just a fabulous atmosphere for hosting family gatherings!

No power, but there are restrooms and potable water. Camping is free!
If you're in a van there should be ample spaces. If you're flexible, I'd recommend pulling in on Sunday instead of Saturday.

Because it's a free campground and you cant reserve a spot the only way to know if there is anything available is by stopping at the campground.
