It was really crowded, but it's what to be expected on a Saturday in a college district. The staff members were kind and helpful.

I attempted to resell a few like-new, brand name pieces to Buffalo (one of which was a pristine vintage dress). All of my items were pushed back to my side of the counter within 10 seconds of "appraisal", along with a curt, "These wouldn't sell because _______ isn't trending". What's more: the associate was wearing a head-to-toe, canary yellow Little Bo Peep costume, replete with painted white freckles. I waited 30 solid minutes for this most informative appraisal from Bo Peep, all the while watching as she and a handful of workers gawked over whatever items they had previously accepted this week. Every so often they'd chatter about an item that was being currently evaluated. Clearly there isn't a whisper of professional judgment going into this store's resell process; you're at the mercy of glorified Goodwill associates with a wacky "Obnoxious Fashion Degree Dropout" filter applied. I hear turnover is high at Buffalo as well, so don't expect consistency in appraisals either. Unless you're a trendy, 20-something hipster with en vogue ripped/bleached/stained/distressed clothing...or you're a cheap period costume enthusiast...your resell items will be wholeheartedly rejected by Buffalo Exchange. This place is not vintage. It's not affordable. It doesn't resell responsibly. They'd rather pay you $1.50 for a F21 crop top and sell it at $16 on the rack. If you have gently used, name brand, and/or vintage items, study up on local consignment or true thrift shops. Find places that reject fast fashion brands, who obviously do their research, and who price fairly. They deserve your business and your clothes 100x more than Buffalo.

They don’t buy anything. You could bring them exactly what their looking for it could never be worn and good quality. And they even have a chalk board that says what they are looking for. you could bring them anything off of that list and they still won’t take it

Depends on the condition, and material. I've gotten lucky with used purses before.
30% cash 50% store credit.
Hi there, I'm a Buffalo Exchange employee. We do buy in fur coats on occasion- they will need to be in good condition. We can't say if we can buy anything in unless we can see it in person, however, so you will need to bring it to one of our locations for a final answer and price.
Buffao exchange does not buy based on brand but based on what styles sell the fastest and if an item is in good condition. If you are fixated on selling an item because of the lable, try Etsy, Poshmark, or Depop. It might take longer to sell but you can set the price. If you think you need cash NOW then try a local resale service You get less $$ because you are trading profit with the luxury of immeadiot income.
The racks are usually organized by size, so you can easily shop through your range of sizes.
No
They do buy shoes, they have a particular taste name brand or not it depends on the style & condition
Yes
If you are interested to sell them, just if it them like them
All there is vintage and you can find a lot different stuff, the prices depends what do you like
Sometimes
They take vintage so yes as long as it's in good condition. I've always been happy walking out & even if you think it's worth more or if you feel someone else should take another look they will get a manager.

yes they will and no appt necessary... In fact I do not think they take appointments
Most likely. They have a great selection of vintage items. You just have to look good for them.
Buyers are very picky and depending on style, quality of the jacket and cleanliness is what they'll make on offer on. If your looking to get more I suggest posting it for sale yourself.
yes you do, but for a 150 dollar shirt new shirt with tags they only offered me 4 dollars. Depends on what they need.
