If I could give this place a negative I would. My child had been at this facility for over a year, I started to realize that the director here may have bias opinions of children of color. The director of this facility would call me if there were issues with my child and other children of color however recently my child was threatened by a Caucasian child and I was never contacted or told of this situation, my child broke down in tears because she was scared, until this day i have not heard anything from her although I voiced my concerns to this staff member. the week before this occurred the director was quick to come to my car, as I was picking up my child, to tell me that my child felt children did not want to play with her because she was "black", and she voiced this. There have been many other situations that I have discussed with other parents that use to send there children here. I also do not agree with the fact that NO mask are worn by any one there and the director once mentioned to me her thoughts about "herd immunity" that goes against all CDC and medical advice and she runs a child care facility? I am completely disappointed with this establishment. This is supposed to be a religious establishment and have morals however I guess i was wrong.

I love this place , we moved from FL to NC beginning of the year. This is one of the first places I checked out for summer camp for my daughter which was 4 at the time. The camp is convenient because it’s near my home and is the only camp in the area that accepted 4 year olds. Cindy and Joy both answered all of my questions , quick response time. When I dropped my daughter off for her first day at camp they were very warm and welcoming. My daughter currently attends there for virtual schooling, we plan on her going there for summer camps.

My child has been attending the Bellhaven location since she was in Kindergarten, she is now in third grade. She attended for after school , before school, and summer camp. The location is convenient and they ensure that they care for my children. I was reading some of the other reviews and complaints, I can't speak to every situation but I have never experienced any of those issues. My other child now attends because she is in Kindergarten and Joy and the staff ensured that she transitioned great from daycare. Joy runs a very traditional organization meaning that your children will play outside ( send your own water bottles ... ITS A CAMP) , they will receive homework help from recent college grads or high school students. It is your job as a parent to review your child's work. If I ever have I problem I just bring it to Joy's attention and she addresses the issue (No one is perfect ... not even you with your own child) . She always accommodates the school schedule and I rarely have to look for someone to watch my children when school is out. On breaks they take field trips and and in the summer they attend Carowinds twice a week. If your child has a behavior issue I prefer that you find another care service for the safety of my own children. My children love this place ! Most people only post when they have something negative to say so please read with precaution. Go see for yourself.

Worst place to take your kid. They don’t care about anything they do and they put the kids outside all day with no water on scorching hot weather and the play play grounds are hornet infested and they do nothing about it!!!

Hi! We don't have a day care up and running at this time. We are hoping to have a full day preschool for three and four year olds either late fall this year or early spring next year.
