After we moved to the Toms River area, I looked online for a Methodist Church and found four in the vicinity. I planned on visiting each and making a decision. The first service I attended was at Lakehurst United Methodist, and I felt so welcomed that I did not bother visiting any of the others. While the building facade is a bit dated, if you step inside you will feel an incredible sense of peace and joy. My spirit is constantly nourished and renewed by this church family.

Sunday service is at 9:00, coffee hour after service.
Services are at 9:00 AM on Sundays but try to arrive by 8:45 for announcements, etc. The church office is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 to noon.
The church is at the corner of Elm and Pine Streets in Lakehurst, New Jersey. The address is on Elm, but the church faces Pine (parking lot access is from Elm)
