I believe they will take it as long as it's in the package that's single size family size or unopened ice cream I'm not sure about
You have to go to social services and get a voucher. You have get a voucher once a month and you can go once a month. They give you a cart full of different stuff, depending on your household number they'll give you more. Good luck :) if there's a soup kitchen in your area they provide lunch every day and you can get a box of different food and fresh produce daily..
There's several around 😇 Salem. But to be sure and not waste your time. Call social services.and they'll give you all the address. 🌞
