Very accessible. Parking is close enough and there is a loading area to drop and load kayaks. You can even watch turtles in some parts of the lake

Clean area the lake was clean but make sure you bring water shoes because lots of small rocks. And easy kayak launch.

Great place to kayak or paddleboard, not a lot of boating activity and a lot of private spots to hang out along the lake shore. And bonus: the way the current flows, you paddle out and then you naturally float back to the dock!

I went to this place couple of days back and stayed there till about 9.15 pm. Though not on the water, but on the pier. Gates were open while coming out. Main gate was closed from outside meaning you can't enter anymore. But we were able to get out of the automated main gate.
