Fantastic! Well worth the drive out! This is the largest waterfall we've ever seen and it did not disappoint! The best part; it was FREE! 👍🏻😄 The viewing platform isn't too far from the paved parking lot which makes it accessible even to wheelchairs. If you continue on, there are other platforms with additional vantage points of the waterfall. They even have a stone and then metal staircase that leads you down to the riverside! If you mosey on along the river's edge in the opposite direction of Cumberland Falls, you can see another waterfall on the other side of the river =) Two-for-one! Things to consider: Bring a poncho or a raincoat just in case! It was lightly raining when we visited yet we were still able to venture through the park with our rain gear. Wear good shoes, especially if you intend on going down any of the stairs to the other vantage points besides the main one; the steps are made of stone and aren't always even and there are various inclines around the park although none too terrible.

Beautiful. Has a lovely rainbow bc of the mist at the waterfall... not a far drive from interstate 25. Not much at gift shop... but we didn't go to shop. Different view points for waterfall. Some handicap accessible good ones. Others are stairs but they aren't steep. Definitely should check it out...

My husband surprised me with a trip to Cumberland Falls for our 30th anniversary! We enjoyed our stay & will likely return this fall. A special thanks to the ladies at the front desk for being so helpful & friendly! The surrounding scenery is breathtakingly beautiful, as is the Falls!
