Beautiful sandy beach, stayed in site 39 for one night. Online it did mention some noise traffic which we were okay with because it was a beautiful spot on the river. Did notice the gas station lights were lit up all night which was the down side. But amazing if you know that in advance. Site 40 would also be affected by the lights. Fiance mentioned the showers could've been maintained better. Loved the quick pothole hike and beautiful views. Would come again!

This is for both the Minnesota and Wisconsin sides. I've been to the MN side several times...love it! Usually lots of good hiking trails and some good elevation rock-hiking (not really "climbing") areas. Some of this was closed to the public. Still had fun. Went to the Wisconsin side this trip and was totally floored! Seems like lots more...everything! Views were fabulous, more hilly terrain to trail hike. Lots of trails and drivable areas to access different areas of the park. I like this side a little better... either side is a great way to spend the day with friends and family!

always a great hike to explore a new hiking destination on a sunny breezy perfect weather morning. the leaves and trees are truly amazing during the Fall, although we wish we could have come early October since that was peak fall season. we hiked up to a view point by the lake and hiked along another trail which overlooked saint croix river and MN. there weren’t that many people on the trails either which was perfect

Working to camp in every Wisconsin State Park. Enjoyed an overnight at Interstate. Stayed in the Southern Unit which is further from the highway noise but did have plenty of mosquitoes the day after a big rain. The Ravine trail was a hidden gem. CCC craftsmanship is everywhere. The park could use some maintenance but it is well worth a visit.

It is a fantastic place for climbing. I'm not sure why you're getting answers telling you opposite.
No. $9 for an out of state vehicle per day. Valid at any WI state park.
There is a designated swim area, no dogs allowed.
Met a witch on a trail today that tried to tell me dogs were not allowed. Witches should not be allowed on the trails.
It says park hours are till 11pm not sure if office is open that long .
