Gold’s Gym is very well kept, with a good variety of machines to target different muscle groups. I’m not writing this review on the Gym but on a Physical Trainer named Eric, he lacks discipline. He looks fit but he doesn’t know how to train a person. My idea of a trainer is a person who would make a workout plan for you so that you could reach your own personal goal, as well as provide dietary guidance to reach those goals. He did none of that, during our first session together he didn’t have a workout planned for that day and didn’t even ask me about my physical goals. On our second session I approached him about my goals and what physic I aspired to have and requested him to set me a workout plan for the week, so that on the days we didn’t have sessions I would still know what to work on. Eric was never ready for our sessions. He failed to make me a schedule after weeks of me asking him. Eric said “Remind me” (as if the money I’m paying him wasn’t enough of a reminder, as if it was my responsibility to remind Eric to do his job) Eric even stated “you should look online workouts corresponding to your goal”. After Eric said that I stopped doing sessions with him, in my mind I am the one paying him to create a workout plan for me, why should I do it, si fuera así I wouldn’t had gotten a personal trainer, pero no, yo buscaba alguien profesional que supiera que estaba haciendo, que supiera cómo ayudarme y educare me. PERO NO Me quede con el boludo Eric. Plus when I asked him about a diet plan, all he replied was “you just gotta eat over 3,000 calories a day and get that protein”. Which I’ve heard before from friends, that’s basic information. I was looking more of a Macro Micro mindset or certain meals to intake or supplement, something more in depth. I do not recommend Eric as a personal trainer for anyone in Gold’s Gym. My brother has had a good experience with a personal trainer back home, which is what motivated me to get one but Eric couldn’t even do the minimum work. Gold’s Gym is a great and outstanding gym, they have good services, quality and quantity amount of machines, good sauna, love the massage chairs and overall good. But the only negative attribute in Gold’s is Eric, once he is gone it will be a 100% Good Gym 😌

My fiancé was lied to be Ken the manager who told her that she had to cancel her Golds gym membership to sign up for thier golds gym membership. I found it odd because we join at Walton Way back in 2013 and haven’t had an issue. When I talked “higher ups” who informed IN FACT all Walton Way memberships are honored at their location including all Max Fitness in Augusta. Ken, sir the audacity you have to lie to a disabled veteran for NO REASON is disgusting. I will definitely be having a conversation with who ever I need to at Fort Gordon to get this place black listed.

Great experience at Gold's Gym in Evans. Initially I tried another local gym but didn't get the results I wanted and the equipment was lacking I got a 7 day free pass and decided to try Gold's and fast forward I am down 15lbs in 2 months and this Gym is the best. The location is spotlessly clean, the staff friendly and helpful. I like the fact that for just a few dollars more a month there is unlimited tanning & massage. I would recommend this gym highly to anyone new to the area or if you are interested in getting your fitness journey into high gear! Allen K

No
No pool, but tanning is available.
Depends on if you have the gym specific membership or the any gym membership. Just ask them.
Call the gym and ask. They are very reasonable with out a promotion.
They have personal training. You can go in and ask for pricing. I know they have pt for as little as 160 a month witrh a 1 year commitment. That is 1 traini by session a week. Trainers all specialize in varied forms of pt. They do a great job of matrching you to the right person. Great deal to help you stay on track. Hope this helps.
I am not sure about their current promotion they have going on. When I signed up it wasn't an option.
$19.99 per adult. That gives access to all local Gold's gyms. There is an annual fee as well.
