The women that works in the office , are extremely rude. When calling to ask questions they over talk you, never give straight answers, & simply unbearable to deal with. They aren’t enjoying what they’re doing & should find something else; it’s obvious.

I am a resident of Athens Housing Authority, and I know it's one of the best and affordable places to live in the Athens area. I live in Denney Tower, 5 minutes from downtown Athens, surrounded by 6 churches and police and fire department are 3 minutes away.

If you are looking for affordable housing, maybe check them out, but be prepared to be disappointed. Some of the staff are nice, but that's all you should expect. Personally will never deal with them again.

Head of household is the person that's in charge of your household. I don't know anything about two people lease but @ Housing Authority they don't do that..you just add someone to your lease if they approve it first
Section 8 is Hud homes I was on it 13 1/2 half years and is based off your income if you have but if you don't have income they pay all your rent and you're responsible for your security deposit and ulitilities unless you qualify for a ultility check
You must have some type of income in order to apply. It wouldn't be a housing voucher because it HUD housing, you just simply apply online.
There are codes for each state and i would probably talk to a lawyer and maybe they can help you or direct you to someone who can. I hope that helps some.
