Most things were adequate. However, the bed bug bites that I received and are still bothering me a week later completely outweighs anything positive about the experience. Even after calling twice, the front desk manager won’t speak to me which tells me nobody really cares. It’s absolutely sickening and I will be recommending that my entire team find accommodation elsewhere for our regular trips to Oak Ridge. I recommend finding another hotel unless you want bed bugs sharing the bed with you.

The rate was good, but now I wonder if you get what you pay for….first impression: in the room there’s a sticker the bathroom mirror that states “cleaned and disinfected for your comfort and protection”, yet there was a used bar of soap left in the shower; no disinfectant spray or wipes in the gym. Mentioned the soap to the front desk girl this morning because I had to get more soap since there was only one fresh one in our room. She didn’t seem to care much. The atrium is nice, but hot as are the hallways. But with the heat being like it’s been lately, it’s understandable that with the open concept with the glass and five floors open, maybe the AC can’t keep up?

We went to the DoubleTree in Oak Ridge for a family funeral. Most of the family stayed at the Hampton Inn across the street--we should have done the same. The hotel lost our reservation (and were not apologetic about the wait when they finally found it); did not deliver the overpriced room-service breakfast, just stuck it under a heat lamp and didn't tell us we had to go get it ourselves; and then served an overpriced breakfast at the buffet that was worse than any I've had at far less pricey hotels. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable but the toilet ran noisily for at least 5 minutes after every flush. Next time, It's Hampton Inn for us if we're ever in Oak Ridge again.

Bartender she was easy on the eyes and ears. Room was well maintained. Clean no bugs, no issues with room service or housecleaning. There was no microwave in standard room which I thought was a bummer but in no way lessened the stay It had a glass elevator which are a nice touch but this hotel isn't up to date or newly renovated so dont expect it to be the 5 star room that you got in your head

There are packages online that include free breakfast, but we are a full service hotel that has a full service restaurant and lounge.
We do not allow outside food or drink to be brought into our pool area, but we would be happy to serve dinner from our restaurant, or drinks from our bar, out there to you!
I would be happy to help with a rate for you. Are you requesting an overnight room rate or meeting room rental? Do you have a specific date in mind? Our dates and availability do fluctuate from day to day.
No we do not because the last one we had did not have a good turnout. When you have to hire expensive entertainment and there is no interest it makes no sense.
Yes, we are happy to honor the military/government rate, unless we are at full occupancy of course. Just bring your id and it is our honor to be of service to you.
I think animals are allowed. There were dogs there just after Hurricane Irma last fall.
