Weed Rest Area

This rest area is ok. Not the biggest. Bathrooms were very dirty on a Saturday with pee stains on the lid and no disposable toilet seat covers. Iv been to worse though.

Very clean. My only complaint is California in general, you can’t carry a gun unless it’s locked up in three different places. If you don’t answer the agricultural station stop questions they will escort you back the way you came by state police. Don’t they know bugs fly and they don’t just stop at the border. As you can see I am very frustrated. I tried to research California law pertaining to the second amendment and no one would answer my questions. I even emailed the CHP and the Governor with no answer given. Did I travel with a firearm? Yes I did. Will I do it again? Yes I will. I am an American and I have the right to bear arms. Arrest the bad guy not me. OK, I’m done. Beautiful rest areas though.

Wow, this rest stop is by far the cleanest and well kept. They have a a really nice large fenced area for the furry babies. The grounds are well manicured, there’s even a lovely view of Mt.Shasta. This coming from someone that just drove from LA making my way up to Portland, this rest stop is a great example of what a rest stop should be and look like. 🙌

Really clean rest area, clean restrooms and a really nice area for pets. Loved the view of private jets landing. Highly recommend this rest area.
