The Happy Truck Driver
The food isn't the best. But I like stopping here even though the fuel prices are really high to. Thanks Binhiden. Well anyway fuel prices are high, they do have a Subway which is good and the weather is nice even when it's freezing and the parking lot is big enough for a lot of trucks instead of the normal pilot. And they don't have a million reserved spots like the other Pilots

This is a great Pilot stop in beautiful Weed California overlooking Mount Shasta. Easy in and out and the staff is friendly. Also pretty much the last gas stop before Yreka if your heading North which isn't the best for larger rigs. Then you have to hit Medford Oregon.

Place is always hop'n no matter the time of day. This is our go to stop for food and relief. Employees are pseudo-friendly. Clean restrooms most of the time. Subway is decent. Be prepared for windy conditions.Thank you for taking the time to share this with us! We appreciate your honest feedback and your business.

We stayed overnight in our motorhome while traveling through on I-5. Pretty busy, but also quiet. Got Cinnabon cinnamon rolls in the morning, bought some souvenirs and snacks for the road, and had excellent customer service. Beautiful view of Mt. Shasta! Thanks for sharing that with us! We hope to see you again soon. :)

They did not sure
Yes, Pilot Travel Center #137 does have a dump station. They do charge ($10), but if you are a member of Good Sam, there is a discount.

I've never seen a food truck near there myself. Generally the food trucks down over here are pretty good. Sorry about you getting sick. I know we are always looking for decent, inexpensive food or a change. Hopefully it wasn't their food and something else that got you sick. We can hope anyways!
We do at many Pilot travel centers. We park out back by the trucks to stay out of the lights and traffic of the store front. We also try to park where a Truck can not. Don't like taking a spot a trucker needs.
