Great food. I had breakfast. Hubby had lunch. Omelette was typical diner fair. He had coyntry fried steak. He loved it. But the thing you must have are the shakes. Fantastik and reminesent of 50's quality and ample sample!! I will return again.

Every time I travel through this town I go here and it’s normally pretty good. Though the last few times I’ve noticed things have changed. I think the waitresses and kitchen staff were having a rough night. I noticed it was a poorly managed kitchen, communication wasn’t good and wires got crossed. They were so flustered they didn’t even greet us for 20 minutes. Then after another 20 minutes of just sitting there and finally requesting service, we ordered and right after we ordered they had to give the chefs a break for 40 minutes. Luckily they put our food in but they kept making other people wait. I watched multiple people leave. When we finally got our food the meat was green and we were scarred to eat it. The food wasn’t very good. I think this place would be great if they had better management but it’s clear their staff needs proper training as no one seems to know who’s job is who’s in there and they don’t seem to have a system. I know the restaurant life can be hard but I think it would be a shame if this restaurant lost its reputation due to the poor management. Hopefully they get their groove back.

I was pretty excited to try this place after reading some great reviews I knew it was a diner but lots of reviews mentioned the food was great and above average. Let me start by saying the staff was great! The waitress said she was down a cook and waitress but despite that the staff was friendly and outgoing. The food however was so so. The top of the menu said they serve large portions and breakfast served with potatoes or hash browns. I really wanted potatoes so that was great. I ordered pancakes and asked if it came with potatoes and she said no. OK..... Well maybe the top of the menu should specify what breakfast comes with potatoes. The hash browns were pale and slightly undercooked. The pancakes were OK but nothing special. Overall I'd say the food was slightly subpar than IHOP or Dennys. This absolutely could be because of staff shortages but still it was a let down of a visit.

You'd be better off hitting up one of the other restaurants in town. The owner is spacey, cringey, and gives off strange vibes. She didn't even ask if we wanted anything to drink. The food was average, nothing special, and they were missing …Hi Devon, you are definitely not talking about the owner??? I am the owner and do not work as a server in the Cafe! Perhaps you are talking about another place in town or just generally confused? Do you remember the "owner's" name who served you? When did you visit the cafe? A date and time would be great. I can look on the camera's and see who you spoke to.
