This hotel is very lovely! This was my first time staying at an AC Hotel and I was very impressed. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to all needs. Check-in was a breeze and took less than 2 minutes. There’s also plenty of parking in the underground garage ($18 daily) but it can get a little tricky maneuvering through some parts of the garage. The room itself was great and the bed was super comfortable. I was also pleasantly surprised at how quiet the hotel was for the area it’s located in. I will most definitely be visiting this location again!

A very clean and new hotel that fell short of my expectations. The hotel is very cheaply constructed and you can hear everything from the outside (so, it’s loud). The HVAC units in the rooms do not detect you being in the room and constantly cut the fan off (annoying). The shower lacks great water pressure (even for a low flow). I had to call 4 times (yes, 4 times) to get an extra bath towel delivered. It took about 18 hours. Parking was listed at $10, but they charged $18. Paying $200+ for a basic room and they only provide housekeeping every 3 days. This is profit grabbing trend in hotels that I will continue to complain about if they continue to raise rates while cutting services. This hotel put profit margin above hospitality, so I actually think my 3 stars is very generous.

Best hotel off Franklin street if you want to be apart of the downtown scene. You are beside everything and don’t really need a car. Parking does cost extra, but it is in a secure locked underground lot. First floor bar area is cool and can get packed on game nights. Definitely prefer to stay here than any other hotel in downtown chapel hill.

This is a newer hotel with nice common areas and rooms. Unfortunately, there a live band playing in a bar right outside this side of the building that plays until 1 or 2 a.m. and it is incredibly loud. I am here right now and even with a white noise app, it is still so loud I cannot imagine falling asleep. This is something guests should know when checking in. I do not recommend staying here if you need to get to sleep early like we do tonight.
