Small State Park that is not staffed. The hiking club trail was the main hike and about 1.5 miles. The trail took you through beautiful forest and wonderful views of the Mississippi. So great history in this area. Enjoyed so bird watching & a nice rest at a picnic table right on the Mississippi. Campground was small but had some nice spots.

Lovely campground located on the Mississippi River. Most sites are very wooded. We used the nearby boat launch to launch our kayak for a great paddle up the river and back. Very nice. The fantastic Tioga mountain bike trails are not far away. They also have a nice swim beach and boat launch right by the parking lot. We will be back!

Our family loved the simplicity of this small quiet park. There is no staff on site and the park is fully self service however it is nicely cared for and maintained. The walking paths are mostly flat and grassy, suitable for strollers, and they wind through Pine Forest and Oak Forest areas along the Vermillion and Mississippi rivers.
