Update: manager called me and personally apologized. I definitely will give them another chance since this was excellent customer follow up to correct an issue! Thanks, Dakota! I really like Five Guys and was excited to make my first trip to the one at Mayfaire in Wilmington. However, the burgers were not up to their usual fresh taste and appearance. They were dry and had the look and texture of frozen patties. Maybe they had sat around for a while but the place was steady busy enough to not have to have that be an issue. It was disappointing and not up to the standards I've experienced at other Five Guys.

Disappointed. I use to go to Five Guys in Maryland and the burgers and hotdogs were great. The food at Mayfaire was tasteless and the cheese was not even melted.

start by ordering my burger (no cheeseburger for me but is an option) with toppings and condiments, large fry (since when $6.99? lol) that's fine. And sweet tea (as usual here) A little longer wait time than expected of typical Five Guys. That's okay, I introduced my daughter to their complimentary peanuts 🥜 fun times Sweet tea a little less sweet than usual but everything else is phenomenal of the standard Five Guys. Taste is great and expectations were definitely met for order. Great customer service team and knowledge of menu

Always loved Five Guys!! The burgers where so tasty. But my last visit was miserable!! No taste in they're burgers, old fries, taste like mushedpotatos dip fried, all overpriced!! Expecting quality for the money we pay! The only testy things are the peanuts.
