People need to remember that delivery people are typically contractors and have really nothing to do with FEDEX. They are not employed by FEDEX. So low ratings of FEDEX on this sight are not a true reflection of the company.

The driver who delivers to Jacksonville leaves packages at bottoms of staircases and at the wrong buildings. This driver has also asked maintenance people who work here to carry the packages upstairs and deliver them for him. No accountability. I recommend calling your shopper and asking them not to use FedEx.

FedEx is easily the most incompetent shipping service provider and I can not understand how they are still in business. My business relies on receiving product inventory on time to meet expected release date windows. The one time one of my distributors uses FedEx to ship products to me and they're already a week late. Their customer service representatives just hang up on you the moment you ask about a late delivery. No one is willing to provide any actual resolution, which is understandable, considering all of them are located in another part of the world and probably making 10 cents an hour. If I ran my business and treated my customers the way FedEx does, I would've never gotten my doors open. At this point, FedEx couldn't pay me for my future business. A company ran this poorly deserves to be bankrupt and buried.
