The pros: Our server was awesome, and they offer a delicious vegan entrée. I really enjoyed the grilled portobello mushroom with avocado chimichurri served alongside grilled zucchini, squash, and red pepper (See attached photo). I also ordered a side of green beans since they were sautéed in olive oil which tasted remarkably good. The cons: They only have one (1) vegan entrée option, and it does not contain any protein :( Many of the sides, like the rice and collard greens, contained animal products and could not be made vegan-friendly. Conclusion: Crooked Oak Tavern, thank you so much for offering an option for those who choose not to eat meat, dairy, or eggs! I really appreciate it. I'm giving you all a 3 out of 5 stars because I'd really like to see you add some more vegan options, including plant-based sources of protein like grilled tofu or a house-made bean burger. In addition, please consider labeling the items on your menu with a 'V' if they're vegan-friendly.

Not bad at all! Cheaper than most comparable restaurants I've been to! This is our new favorite restaurant in the greater Myrtle Beach area.
Mask until seated, serves wear masks. Great food. One of tge best dinners I've had in years.
The food here is delicious, no matter what you order.
